Ahiripukur Annugharh Peace Foundation is working for children and young people as well for women who are deprived of social justice and education and ignorant of their rights. They wish to build a safer place where everyone is respected and regarded and can manifest their dream with proper education. They help families to have positive thinking regarding girls, and they help parents understand that girls can play and pursue their dreams without any pressure to get married early. Helping girls to be self-reliant and training girls’ skills is part of their program. Members go to schools in slums, and organize sessions with children, youth and elders. They provide training and they have completed two years of trainings for children and young people of different cities and states. Simultaneously, they have been trained by Empowering Children and Youth as Peace Builders (ECAP) and Play For Peace. Today they are trainees supervised and recognized by both organizations. They are working with World Vision International to provide education to the children and peace-building training programs for the youth.
We wish to build a safer place where everyone is respected and regarded and can manifest their dream with proper education.
We are an organization dedicated to promoting peace through active participation and addressing the need of mutual respect in our society.
