Associazione Joint was founded in December 2003 to promote social activities for youngsters between 14 and 30 years old. Members started as a group of young people willing to make a change in the community. They started with local and international activities, and over the years they focused more and more on international projects, with youth exchanges in particular. In 2008, they had their first part-time worker, and from that moment on they grew constantly, implementing more and better projects of youth mobility. Since 2012, they have also started to support local and international NGOs in the management of Erasmus+ projects, such as being a coordinating organization and consultant for Mobility of Youth Workers, Youth Exchanges and Capacity Building projects. They currently coordinate projects across Italy and cooperate with several local organizations and networks. This cooperation helps them to foster a high local impact of mobility activities. Since 2015, Joint sends and coordinates non-financed work camps and international volunteering activities outside E+, creating strong connections outside of Europe. Also since 2016, Joint runs an after-school center in a disadvantaged suburb of Milan for young people with a migration background. Since 2017, Joint has been the Italian member of International Cultural Youth Exchange worldwide network, focusing in particular on overseas, long-term volunteering.
Our mission is to provide non-formal education opportunities for young people through international mobility.
