Bermo Foundation for Environment and Peace is focused on pollution awareness, community development and on most of Sustainable Development Goals of United Nations. It is also providing training and development programs for Tribal in Jharkhand.
Environmental degradation is the major drawback in the area due to development of industries that get their primary source from coal. So, while industry has given opportunity to the local to get employment at the same time it has caused tremendous degradation, taking away the coexistence and healthy livings. Members of Bermo Foundation for Environment and Peace believe people need to get back to their knowledge of living in harmony with the nature and that farming, forest, water, and land must be saved. This is why they are also committed to build a strong platform of understanding addressing issues as River Conservation, Pollution, Human Rights, empowering women and providing girls education.
