Mythri Foundation was created in Bangalore in memory of a young woman leader, Ms. Mythri, who originated the idea of the interfaith components in the form of a foundation, but passed away before realizing her dream. Mythri’s family members’ and friends’ circle, including Hindus, Christians, Jains, and Muslims, launched the group called Mythri Foundation in February 2018. Mythri Foundation has a clear vision for social reforms and world peace, through cultivating respect for the sacred wisdom of each religion. Its vision includes reconciliation efforts in resolving conflicts and promoting activities that support sound ecological practices to protect and preserve the earth for future generations. Mythri Foundation organizes sessions on Ecology & Environmental Sciences for children, trains youngsters to discover their selves, and hosts rescue activities of stray dogs and cats. Members meet monthly and conduct Power of Love Meetings.
