NGPM Central School was established in the year 1994. This school speaks the language of the children, families and community which they serve. Being a public educational institution, the school deals with different religious groups of the area. In order to avoid possible conflicts between the groups, school authorities work to ensure harmony among all groups through different activities. Last year, teachers arranged a peace poster competition and organized several interreligious events throughout the academic year. Also, students observe different religious festivals and participate in peace rallies and community development programs. As members of URI, the school will incorporate the spirit of the URI Principles in their extracurricular activities and religious festivals, which will be integral components of the program. They also think of adding pilgrimages and visits to different religious centers as part of the education of their students.
