“Peace, Education, Awareness for Community Empowerment” Vision is formed to support the disadvantaged and voiceless people for their rights. PEACE Vision believes that, through capacity building, people will be able to make their own decisions and work for peace and sustainable development. It also believes that women’s empowerment and gender equality are the keys to development. PEACE Vision has been working with the community since 2012. They have organized awareness programs with youth and women, engaged communities of different religions in interfaith dialogue, and promoted peace through education and ecofriendly activities. They have monthly meetings with youth to raise their awareness about interfaith dialogue and peace. These youth also work for the environment, and together with PEACE Vision they have planted 1,000 trees. They also provide peace education and gather the community to celebrate the International Day of Peace.
