ROLE (Rights of Living for Everyone) is an emerging non-profit, women-headed organization of Southern Punjab. ROLE´s major focuses have been Women’s Empowerment, Skill Training, Human Rights Education, Promotion of Peacebuilding, Tolerance and Interfaith Harmony. Empowerment of women takes place through creating a nurturing environment so that they can earn their livelihood, and through women´s rights advocacy. Members promote education not only at the primary level, but also secondary and higher levels for a prosperous country and the inclusion of disabled students in the education process to enable them to stand on their own feet. They also contribute to preventive and curative healthcare, including drug reduction programs; fostering peace and tolerance in society; and raising voices for the promotion of human rights. ROLE runs Entrepreneurship, Legal & Psychosocial, Food Security, Inclusive Education, and Peacebuilding Programs.
