Dhanbad is the second most populated city in the Indian state of Jharkhand, after Jamshedpur. The city is called the “Coal Capital of India”, for housing one of the largest coal mines in the country. Dhanbad’s economy revolves primarily around coal mining and related industries. Though mines have boosted the economy there is a downside to this progress : The coal mines are very dangerous because of the emission of the harmful gas and the children and the women who work here in the dumping area are in a high risk to get lost in the mines. So the objective of the NGO is to provide proper education to the poor children and to provide proper training to the helpless women so that they can leave the dangerous job and search for something else for their livelihood.
Our desired outcome is that Coal labors have good life
Since 2013, we are working for Women Empowerment, Education for Labor people, Coal Field Environment Protection.
