The Spotlight Academy specializes in story telling for adults and children. They have sessions every month where people from different religions narrate stories from different Holy Books. They have learned from experience that story telling is an extraordinary tool in inculcating values in children and elders. They are developing story telling as an art and an interfaith instrument for promoting peace. They are also trying to develop a network among the NGOs to harness peace in society. With this aim, members reach out to the different religions and castes who often become victims of disharmony and violence. Their study of the Holy Books will go a long way in weaving the threads of connectivity and oneness among various communities. They believe that, to promote lasting peace, they have to mend the very fabric of unity among people who are compartmentalized and fragmented because of religion and ideologies. They hope to become messengers of peace.
