Our group with Marianne Horling (URI Deutschland) and Jennifer Taj (URI Golden Star CC Pakistan)

URI Germany was present at the demonstration against racism in Bonn, where approximately 1000 people gathered at the Münster-Market to show their solidarity with their brothers and sisters of all races who were claiming their human rights. The demonstrators expressed their opinions on posters. For 8.46 minutes, all people kneeled down to remember George Floyd, who had died by the police force in Minneapolis, USA.

This gesture moved everyone.

The silence was speaking loudly.

The spirit of solidarity moved amongst the demonstrators. Despite the limitations of the current coronavirus pandemic, people felt encouraged to unite.

May Peace prevail on Earth!
