URI Stories of Impact

I am happy to report that URI Africa has expressed its support for the Africa Faith Leaders’ Summit.

What is wisdom? It is a process. A road you take.

July 1-3, I joined 33 indigenous leaders from six continents that gathered under summer sun and ancient oaks on original Pomo tribal land at Four Springs Retreat Center in Sonoma County, California.

CARAVAN is an interfaith arts non-profit founded by Reverend Paul-Gordon Chandler.

A Faculty Development Programme on Renewable Energy and Alternative Fuels (REAF 2014) was conducted from June 16 to June 20, 2014 at Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi by Dr J.P. Kesari, Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department and an active member of PEACE CC. Prof. Kesari, a former director at AICTE, is specialized in solar energy having obtained his PhD in the same field and is currently faculty adviser on solar projects at DTU, Delhi.

The beautiful campus of Santa Clara University served as the perfect setting for members of the URI Global Council and Staff.

We meet a lot of people in life—some may leave an impact, others may go unnoticed. The influence could be positive or negative.

Peace Education Association and Center for Excellence (PEACE) CC took part in a dynamic discussion in Jakarta, Indonesia entitled “Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development” earlier this month.

It is not Mother's Day, yet I would like to write a note on these two mothers who are with Bishop Bill Swing and myself.
