Inviting choral groups strengthened relations between Soka Gakkai, the Chair of Interreligious and Intercultural Studies, Luis Dolan, and URI Latin America & the Caribbean.

On November 14, the Founder of URI, Bishop William E. Swing, began his visit to Brazil.

Enoé Texier (URI Regional Coordinator for URI-Latin America and the Caribbean) organized a meeting with the Lutheran Pastor of the CONIC (National Council of Christian Churches) of Brazil, Romi Bencke.

In the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on November 16, the Bridges Builders Program (a URI Cooperation Circle) was awarded the Poliedro de la Paz.
