Happy Earth Day - April 22!

As sisters and brothers of the world gather for the holy days of Easter and Passover, symbolizing rebirth and freedom, we receive the terrible, contrary news of horrific bombings in Sri Lanka.

I write this article two days after the fire in the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, and exactly one hundred years to the day of the San Francisco Earthquake and Fire of 1906 when Grace Cathedral burned to the ground.

Two members of each winning Cooperation Circle traveled to Jordan to accept their prizes in an April 17 ceremony at Al Husseiniya Palace, which was attended by His Majesty King Abdullah.
