URI Stories of Impact

From birth, I have been one of the many women who have dealt with these kinds of issues. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been told not to walk alone at nighttime. Today women are facing those problems. At least I am also proud to be a girl.

URI West India Cooperation Circles (CCs), along with members of other interfaith groups, celebrated the 17th Anniversary of URI.

Hand in Hand organized an Interfaith Iftar Party on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.

URI Pakistan celebrated a wonderful and beautiful program of URI’s 17th birthday on 3rd July, 2017 with Cooperation Circle coordinators at Peace Center Lahore-Pakistan.

Jul 18, 2017. On August 13 Multiregion CC Hope in Life hosts an interfaith event in which Hindus and Muslims are brought together under one roof, linked together through Kazi Nazrul Islam's poetic compositions and Tagore's verses. 

Children aged 11 to 15 participated in the second edition of the Bridges-Between-Cultures project in Stara Zagora, Southern Bulgaria, learning how to connect with people who belong to other cultures.

The Bainbridge Island North Kitsap Interfaith Council has been organizing annual concerts for fourteen years. However, quite recently, the concerts have evolved. What started out as a choir concert has turned into something much larger.
