Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation

In a field as intangible as peacebuilding, how can peace proponents know their efforts are really working?

By words and actions, people all over the world give voice to URI. Read an example.

The participants were Muslim, Druze, Christian, and Jewish women who had lost sons and husbands to religiously-motivated violence. Most had never celebrated the holiday before and were thrilled by the new experience.

URI joins with groups worldwide in calling for unity, peace and justice in response to global tensions this month.

In total, close to 300 people were gathered with an overarching goal of joining together to learn from one another and to brainstorm new ways of galvanizing interfaith leaders and activists to take interfaith work to the next level. The desire to make a difference in our troubled times was a common thread among participants

Hiroshima and Nagasaki Memorial Day was observed by the Laa De' Institute of Social Sciences, in association with URI Cooperation Circle Zero Limits.
