Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights Cooperation Circle (CC) is working on different projects focusing on: the economic empowerment of women through vocation and routine life skill training; the establishment of children parks at various localities of Azad Kashmir; first aid training; cultivation training for kitchen gardening; reproductive health; and the capacity building of youth with the collaboration of OBOS—the “One Body One Spirit” movement in Korea. Members also organize inter-religious activities and awareness campaigns for peace, a minority and human rights program, an awareness program for child rights and child abuse prevention, and youth groups for inter-religious harmony.

Report on Launching Ceremony of Economic Empowerment of Women Project and Certificate Awarding Ceremony organized by Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights (PCSW&HR)

Pakistani Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights (PCSW&HR) organized a launching ceremony of its project “Economic Empowerment of Women through Vocational, Life Skills, Cultivation training for kitchen gardening and Computer literacy” at Rawalakot on 1st June 2014. This project is being executed by PCSW&HR with the collaboration of OBOS “The One Body One Spirit Movement” Korea since January 2014 but this project was officially launched on 1st June 2014. President Azad Government State of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan was the chief guest of this project launching and certificate awarding ceremony whereas Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Noori Chairman PCSW&HR presided over the ceremony.

Celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week by PCSW&HR in February 2014

As the UN General Assembly unanimously passed a resolution to observe the World Interfaith Harmony Week annually during the first week of February. During the 1st week of February 2014 the world celebrated 4th world interfaith harmony week throughout the world. Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights (PCSW&HR) also actively participated to celebrate the world interfaith harmony week. To celebrate this week PCSW&HR organized various awareness activities.

PCSW&HR's Delegation Participation at SAARC Seminar on Child Rights at Amity University India

Udayan Care an India based NGO working for Orphaned and abandoned children organized a Seminar on Institutionalised Children Standards of Care and Mental Health at Amity University Noida – New Delhi India from 14 -15 March 2014 with the collaboration of different multinational companies. Around 100 of delegates from SAARC countries including Pakistan and others countries in which Australia, UK participated in the seminar. A three member’s delegation of Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights (PCSW&HR) headed by Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Noori Chairman PCSW&HR also participated in the said seminar. Mr. Tahir Mehmood Hundli Advocate Ex- Member Provincial Assembly Punjab and Mr. Mansoor Ahmed Executive Director PCSW&HR were also part of PCSW&HR delegation who participated in the seminar at Amity University Noida New Delhi India.

A PCSW&HR’s delegation headed by Mr. Muhammad Ijaz Noori Chairman Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights called on Mr. Masood Khan Permanent Representative of Pakistan at United Nation at Pakistan Mission New York on 1stNovember 2013. 

Prayer & Solidarity Ceremony with the Victims of Peshawar Church Attack and Religious Minorities Living in Pakistan Organized by Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights

Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights organized a prayer and solidarity ceremony for the victims of Peshawar Church attack with the collaboration of Religious and Civil Society of Sialkot at its office on 28th September 2013. The purpose of that prayer & solidarity ceremony was to condemn the suicide attack, offer prayer for those innocent people died in that brutal suicide attack, show solidarity with the religious minorities living here in Pakistan

Peace & Solidarity Ceremony at Convent of Jesus & Mary Sialkot by PCSW&HR and CJM Sialkot

Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights with the collaboration of Convent of Jesus & Mary Sialkot Cantt organized the Peace & Solidarity ceremony at Convent of Jesus & Mary Sialkot Cantt on April 8, 2013. The purpose of that peace & solidarity ceremony was to create an inter-religious & inter-cultural harmony, understanding and show solidarity with the religious minorities particularly Pakistani Christians living here in Pakistan and abroad to eradicate their depravedness and assure them that protection of minorities and their assets is moral obligation of Islamic state

Seminor on "Peace through Interfaith Harmony" to Celebrate the World Interfaith Harmony Week 2013

During the 1st week of February 2013 the world celebrated 3rd world interfaith harmony week throughout the world.  PCSW&HR also actively participated to celebrate the world interfaith harmony week. To celebrate this week PCSW&HR organized various awareness activities in which seminar at Sialkot on the topic “Peace through Interfaith Harmony & Dialogue” on 6th February 2013 was main activity. In the seminar hundreds of believer (both male & female) of different faiths in which Muslims, Christians, Hindus etc participated. 

Celebration of International Day of Peace 2012 by Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights (PCSW&HR)

Pakistan Council for Social Welfare & Human Rights (PCSW&HR) an active Cooperation Circle (CC) of United Religions Initiatives (URI) in Pakistan  observe the International Day of Peace on 27tht September 2012,  and convention & workshop on “ Role of Women for Sustainable Peace for Sustainable Future” was organized to celebrate the International day of Peace 2012.
