The third URI Asia Assembly was held at Sarvodaya Institute of Higher Learning in Bandaragama, Colombo District, Sri Lanka on October 5-6, 2018.

Local URI members inaugurated a sewing machine centre on 31st August, 2018 at Machhai Village in Muzzafarpur, Bihar.

The URI member group "Peace Foundation CC, Muzaffar Garh, Pakistan" organized a one-day seminar in Mir Hazar Khan city, which is about 300 miles from Lahore, Pakistan in the Southern Punjab area.

Responding to the crisis, on the 23rd of April, Sarvodaya Bundelkhand and Samagra Vikash organized a free eye check-up and gender sensitization program.

The URI North India and Afghanistan Regional Team organized UDAAN 2018, involving 18 organizations, 350 children, and 8 different faith and religion leaders, for a day filled with joy and happiness.

United Religions Initiative India’s 8th National Assembly was successfully held in Ajmer, Rajasthan, in the URI West India region.

URI Sri Lanka held its 4th National Assembly from 5th to 8th October, 2017, under the theme “Together for Peace Respect, Safety, and Dignity for All.”
